According to a recent report from FN News, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series is expected to see a price increase for its 512GB storage variants.

The base pricing for the entry-level storage options will remain unchanged compared to the Galaxy S24 series and the 512GB models are anticipated to be priced higher in South Korea.

According to the reports, the pricing for the 512GB versions is expected to increase as follows:

  • The Galaxy S25 priced at approximately $906 (approximately $18 increase),
  • The S25+ at around $1,042, and
  • The S25 Ultra at about $1,280 (approximately $11 increase).

The Galaxy S25 is expected to launch at approximately $796, while the S25+ will reportedly be priced at around $933. The S25 Ultra’s 256GB model is said to cost about $1,171, matching the previous year’s 256GB models in the Galaxy S24 lineup.

Despite a 20% increase in costs for the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and other pricier components, Samsung has chosen to absorb these additional manufacturing costs to promote the adoption of its Galaxy AI features. All models in the Galaxy S25 lineup will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.0 out of the box.

Moreover, Samsung plans to open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on January 22 with shipments beginning on February 3. The general availability is expected on February 9 around the world.
