A tipster on X has revealed that Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy F16 5G smartphone in India, with detailed specifications. The device is anticipated to share similarities with the Galaxy A16 5G in performance but will feature distinct design elements and improvements.
According the leak, the Galaxy F16 5G will feature the following:
- 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 6300+ processor
- 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM
- 128GB and 256GB storage options and a microSD card slot
- 50MP primary rear camera
- 5MP ultrawide camera
- Third unspecified camera
- 13MP front-facing camera
- 6,000mAh battery
- 25W fast charging
The Galaxy F16 5G is expected to run on Android 14 out of the box and is expected to receive seven major Android OS updates. Pricing is speculated to be under INR 15,000 (approximately $171) and sales expected to be exclusive to Flipkart in India.
