As first steps, do the following:
- Restart your Phone.
- Restart your Router.
- Try connecting your Samsung Galaxy S24 closer to the router.
Change Router Bandwidth to 2.4GHz
Note: The 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands refer to different frequencies Wi-Fi routers use to transmit wireless signals. Each band has its own bandwidth, speed, and range characteristics.
Keep in mind that the steps to change the router bandwidth will differ between Router models and operating systems. Some router models may not support 2.4GHz and if you bought the router from a network provider, you may have to contact them before changing frequencies.
- Connect the router to a different device (A desktop/laptop/etc.)
- Log in to the router dashboard (also known as the “admin” area).
- Access Wireless settings.
- Change the frequency to 2.4GHz.
- Restart the router.
- Connect your Samsung Galaxy S24.
Reset Network Settings on Your Samsung Galaxy S24
Warning: Resetting network settings will revert any changes you have made to the network settings on your Samsung Galaxy S24.
- Open Settings app.
- Go to General Settings.
- Tap on Reset.
- Select Reset network settings.

- Use a paper clip or something similar to keep pressing the key for about 10 seconds. Release the key when your router will automatically restart.
- Try connecting the phone to see if the problem is resolved.
Try a Different Router
If you are still facing issues with Wi-Fi on your Samsung Galaxy S24, try connecting your phone to a different router and see if it works. If the problem is with the router, you may need to take the device to a repair center.

If none of the above steps cover your issue, try the following steps:
- Clear system cache:
- Turn off your phone.
- Plug the charger in.
- Press and hold the power button + volume up button to enter the recovery mode.
- Use the volume keys to select the “Wipe cache partition” option and press the power key.
- Confirm the selection.
- Once the process is completed, you will see the recovery menu again. Select “Reboot system now” and press the power key to exit recovery mode.
- Do a factory data reset (Warning: Factory data reset erases all your personal data. Take a backup before proceeding):
- Open Settings app.
- Go to General management.
- Tap on Reset.
- Select Factory data reset.
- Confirm.
