Samsung has rolled out the January 2025 security patch for the Galaxy A52 5G. This update applies to the European and Middle Eastern variant of the smartphone, identified by the model number SM-A526B. It comes with the firmware version A526BXXSBGYA3.
The Galaxy A52 5G, which last received an OS upgrade to Android 14, One UI 6.1, is eligible for an additional year of security updates. Users can access the latest security update by tapping the notification received or by navigating to:
- Settings
- Software update, and
- Selecting Download and install.
