Galaxy A52s Receives January 2025 Security Update
Samsung has rolled out of its first software update for the Galaxy A52s in 2025. This update, firmware version A528BXXSAGYA2, includes the January 2025 security patch and has begun to reach users in Asian and European countries.
The January update addresses multiple security vulnerabilities but does not introduce any new features or performance improvements. Users of the Galaxy A52s can check for the latest update by navigating to:
- Settings
- Software update, and
- Selecting Download and install.
The Galaxy A52s was originally launched with Android 11. So far it has received three major Android updates over its lifespan, including Android 12 in late 2021, Android 13 in late 2022, and Android 14 in late 2023. However, it is confirmed that the device will not receive the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update.
