Samsung is to introduce the Galaxy F16 5G and M16 5G smartphones in India, following the launch of their A-series counterpart, the Galaxy A16 5G, in October 2024. Pricing of these devices has revealed from tipster Abhishek Yadav, revealing that both models will be available in three configurations: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, with prices starting at INR 13,499 and reaching up to INR 16,499.

Although the official launch date for the Galaxy F16 5G has not been announced, the activation of its support page suggests a forthcoming release. Similar to previous F-series devices, the Galaxy F16 5G will be launched exclusively in India.

In specifications, both the Galaxy F16 5G and M16 5G will maintain feature parity with the Galaxy A16 5G, with the exception of a larger battery capacity. While the Galaxy A16 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the new models will come with a 6,000mAh battery.

The two smartphones will showcase a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset will provide processing power. Both devices are expected to ship with Android 15, One UI 7.0.

Camera features include a triple-camera setup on the rear; a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens, along with a 13MP front-facing camera. Connectivity options will support dual-SIM 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, and a USB Type-C port.

Additional features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 25W charging, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, making these devices a competitive offering in India’s smartphone market.
