Galaxy S21 Series Receives February 2025 Security Update in Europe

Samsung has begun rolling out the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy S21 series; the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. This update is currently being released in Europe, with Switzerland being the first country to receive it.

The firmware version associated with this update is G99xBXXSEGYA2 for the Galaxy S21 series. Specific firmware versions for each model are as follows:

• Galaxy S21: G991BXXSEGYA2
• Galaxy S21+: G996BXXSEGYA2
• Galaxy S21 Ultra: G998BXXSEGYA2

This security patch addresses numerous vulnerabilities found in the previous software version. Users can install the update by navigating to:

3. Selecting Download and install.
