Galaxy S24 May Receive Galaxy S25’s AI-Powered Audio Eraser Feature
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series may soon receive an exciting AI feature that was exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series. Reports suggest that the “Audio Eraser” feature that uses artificial intelligence to manage sound in videos, will be included in the upcoming stable One UI 7.0 update for Galaxy S24 users.
According to @tarunvats33, the Audio Eraser feature allows users to detect and adjust up to 6 different types of sounds within video recordings. It enables users to improve or mute specific sounds, such as background noise from traffic or wind, as well as sounds like barking dogs.
This feature requires a capable Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to work properly, and since both the Exynos and Snapdragon processors in the Galaxy S24 have a powerful NPU, the device can handle the new AI feature.
Currently, the stable One UI 7.0 update has only been released for the Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy F06 5G. Samsung has not yet rolled out this update for the Galaxy S24 series.
