Galaxy S25 Series Users Report Slow Charging Issues, Samsung Promises Fix
Users of Samsung’s Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra smartphones are experiencing slow charging problems, asking the company to acknowledge the issue and announce an upcoming software update to fix it.
The Galaxy S25 series maintains the same charging speeds as its predecessors, with the S25 and S25+ offering 45W charging and the S25 Ultra providing 25W charging.
However, users are reporting that their devices are not charging at the advertised rates. Additionally, issues have been reported with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, where users connecting the device to Samsung’s 45W charger experience disconnections and leading the charger to switch between Super Fast Charging 2.0 and not charging at all. The problem persists despite using the original 5A cable that comes with the charger.
Samsung Italia has recognized the charging issues and confirmed that a software update is forthcoming to address these problems.
