Samsung Galaxy S25+, set to a launch later this month along with other S25 models was spotted on the Geekbench benchmark platform. According to the details, the global version of the Galaxy S25+ (model number SM-S931B) is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and is equipped with 12GB of RAM and has the latest Android 15 operating system pre-installed.

In the Geekbench benchmark tests, it achieved scores of 2,986 in single-core performance and 9,355 in multi-core performance.

Although these scores are impressive, they fall slightly short compared to other devices with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It is possible that the device analyzed could be a prototype and the final retail version may has improved performance optimizations.

Samsung intended to use its own Exynos 2500 chip across most Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ units. However, low yield rates from the manufacturing process of 3nm wafers at Samsung Foundry made mass production of the Exynos 2500 chip unfeasible in time for the Galaxy S25 series.

Even if it had been available earlier benchmark results for a Galaxy S25+ with the Exynos 2500 showcased underwhelming performance compared to competitors.
