Galaxy S26 Ultra Rumored to Feature Invisible Selfie Camera
Speculation about Galaxy S26 Ultra has surfaced suggesting the potential inclusion of an invisible selfie camera using the “Under Display Camera (UDC)” technology.
Recent reports indicate that Samsung is already prototyping the Galaxy S26 Ultra, despite the fact that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has just been released. According to a tipster on X, the upcoming flagship may feature an UDC that renders the selfie camera nearly invisible. This technology, while having been previously implemented in the Galaxy Z Fold 3, has seen limited use in other Samsung models.
The existing UDC technology has faced criticism due to its 4MP resolution and challenges in low-light photography, as the camera is positioned behind the display. Although Samsung has made advancements in AI-based image processing, the fundamental hardware has not significantly evolved. The latest rumors suggest that Samsung is exploring new UDC camera prototypes, although specifics regarding improvements or differences from existing models remain unclear.
