Samsung has rolled out its first software update of the year for the Galaxy Tab S9 series, delivering the February 2025 security patch to devices in Europe.

The update applies to the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra, addressing several security vulnerabilities identified in the previous software version. This update does not include any performance enhancements or new features.

The firmware versions associated with the update are as follows:

  • Galaxy Tab S9: X716BXXS5BYA5
  • Galaxy Tab S9+: X816BXXS5BYA5
  • Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra: X916BXXS5BYA5

Users in Europe can check for the update by navigating to:

  3. Download and install

Samsung is expected to launch the Android 15, One UI 7.0 update in the coming months. This update is anticipated to include a major UI redesign with new Galaxy AI features.
