Galaxy Z Flip 7 Design Leaked with Subtle Changes Ahead of Summer Launch
The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7’s design has been unveiled through unofficial CAD renders, indicating minimal aesthetic changes compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
These images released shortly after a similar leak for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, reveal a light blue color scheme and suggest that the new model may maintain familiar design elements.
According to the leaked information, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a 6.8-inch foldable display and a 3.6-inch cover screen. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch main display and a 3.4-inch cover. However, the increase in screen size does not necessarily mean thinner bezels. The reported dimensions for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 are 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9mm when unfolded, mirroring the thickness of the Flip 6 but being slightly longer and wider.
One potential improvement hinted at in the renders is a less noticeable crease on the foldable display. Both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 might utilize advanced foldable panel technology designed to reduce the appearance of this crease.
Samsung is to officially announce the Galaxy Z Flip 7 this summer, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Despite the subtle design modifications, the retail price is expected to remain unchanged from the 2024 model, which started at $1,099.
