Galaxy Z Fold 7 May Feature Redesigned S Pen
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 may introduce a redesigned S Pen to improve the writing experience. While the foldable device is not expected to include a built-in S Pen, a new version with a thicker tip is rumored to be in development.
Tipster @PandaFlashPro reported that production of the new S Pen is slated to begin in June 2025, in preparation for the phone’s anticipated launch next month. However, details concerning whether the new S Pen will resemble its predecessors or the S Pen Pro remain unclear. Additionally, it is uncertain if it will include Bluetooth for Air Actions and other features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come with larger displays compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6; featuring a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch inner foldable screen. Improvements may also include a less noticeable crease and power efficiency.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is likely to maintain a similar camera setup, a 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP selfie camera. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to offer at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and running on One UI 7 at launch. Although a larger battery is not anticipated, faster 45W charging and Qi2 Ready accessories could provide improvements in performance.
