- Samsung Pass repeatedly pops up offering to save passwords in apps.
- Samsung Pass prompts appear even when autofill isn’t used.
- Unwanted Samsung Pass notifications.
Solution: Disable Samsung Pass
Warning: Samsung Pass can be disabled at any time, but doing so will reset it to default settings and delete all related data (including biometrics).
Follow the steps below to disable it on your device:
- Go to Settings, swipe down, and tap Security and privacy.
- Select Samsung Pass and sign in if prompted.
- Tap the More options menu (three vertical dots), then select Settings.
- Tap See all devices using Samsung Pass.
- Choose the device to remove, tap the More options menu next to it, and select Remove.
- Confirm by tapping Remove again. This will delete all Samsung Pass data from the device and reset Samsung Pass.
- Open the Samsung Wallet app and tap Menu.
- Go to Settings, select Manage devices, and tap Remove under the desired device.
- Confirm the removal by tapping Remove again.
If you continue to receive pop ups within apps from Samsung Pass after these steps, ensure that no apps are set to use it as their autofill service.
