Galaxy A36 and A56 Set for Mid-March Launch in Asia
Samsung is planning to release its latest Galaxy A-series smartphones: The Galaxy A36 and A56. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the expected launch date is mid-March 2025. The upcoming A36 and A56 will be available in India and some other Asian markets.
Specifications Of A36 & A56
Both the Galaxy A36 and A56 will feature large displays with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera and flat sides. The camera system is designed with three rear-facing cameras arranged vertically.
The A36 and A56 will each have a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12MP front camera. The camera supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. The A56 will also include a 12MP ultrawide camera. The secondary camera for the A36 remain undisclosed.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A36 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, whereas the A56 will be powered by more advanced Exynos 1580 processor. Both processors are manufactured using 4nm technology by Samsung Foundry. The Exynos 1580 is anticipated to offer better performance with its newer CPU cores and GPU capabilities.
Additionally, each phone will come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. Both Galaxy A36 and A56 models will run on Android 15, with One UI 7 software, and may receive six major Android OS updates.
