Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series: Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra is now fully compatible with the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard.

The Wi-Fi 7 standard was initially exclusive to the Ultra model due to the Exynos chip limitations affecting the S24 and S24+ in many regions. But the new Galaxy S25 lineup eliminates this restriction and provide Wi-Fi 7 support across all 3 models.

If we compare this new wireless standard over its predecessor, Wi-Fi 6E, the Wi-Fi 7 brings speeds of up to 46Gbps, 4.7 times faster than Wi-Fi 6E. Also, the 320MHz channel allows routers to handle more devices simultaneously, with improved power efficiency.

Although the Wi-Fi 7 routers have become more affordable, users should verify the operational status of Wi-Fi 7 in their countries because not all governments have approved the use of 6GHz spectrum. In regions where Wi-Fi 7 is not yet authorized, routers will default to using Wi-Fi 6E.
