Galaxy S25 Slim Maybe Powered By Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
Samsung has officially announced the date for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event which will take place on January 22nd in San Jose, California. During this event the new Galaxy S25 series will be revealed. In an interesting twist, speculation has emerged regarding another possible variant, the Galaxy S25 Slim, which could be making its debut alongside the other models.
Recent leaks have provided some intriguing insights into the Galaxy S25 Slim. A device identified by the model number SM-S937U has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This listing suggests that the Slim model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset similar to the other models in the lineup. It’s also reported that the phone will have a 12GB of RAM which will likely be one of the available memory types.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to come with One UI 7.0. As the name suggests, the thickness of the device are expected to be slim (around 6.x mm).
In specifications, Galaxy S25 Slim will have:
- 6.7-inch QHD+ display.
- Triple-camera arrangement on the rear, including a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
- 4,700 – 5,000mAh battery capacity.
If rumors are true, the Galaxy S25 Slim will be a more compact version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra (without the S-Pen). Pre-orders for the devices are expected to open on the same day as the event, although Samsung has already begun taking pre-orders for the models.
