Samsung Eyes Camera Integration for Future Galaxy Buds

According to 9To5Google report shared by Mark Gurman, Samsung is exploring the development of Galaxy Buds that include integrated cameras. This move comes as the South Korean tech giant aims to enhance its flagship Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds.

Details on the new features remain scarce, but the concept aligns with similar initiatives from competitors. Both Apple and Meta are also working on wireless earbuds equipped with cameras.

Meta’s version, referred to as “Camera Buds,” allow users to examine an object and receive analysis via the earbuds, although these may face challenges related to visibility and user experience.

Apple is reportedly developing AirPods that incorporate infrared cameras for recognizing hand gestures for improving user interaction compared to traditional touch controls.
