Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S25 series, and one of the key features are standardizing 12GB of RAM across all 3 models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Previous base models had only 8GB of RAM. The decision to increase the RAM across all devices may come as Samsung increases its focus on new AI capabilities in its flagship devices. The additional memory is expected to facilitate faster processing of on-device AI functions.
However, storage options remain unchanged. The base model has a 128GB of storage, and higher capacities of 256GB and 512GB available for an additional cost.
