Samsung Teased The Upcoming Galaxy S25 Slim?
Samsung has officially announced the date for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event where the Galaxy S25 series will introduce on January 22. Usually, Samsung introduces three variants of its Galaxy S smartphones at the start of each year. But this time, a new model named the “Galaxy S25 Slim” may also be revealed.
The announcement came alongside a teaser image that showcases the corners of four distinct devices. Initially, it was believed that the teaser featured the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, speculation has shifted towards the idea that all four corners represent different devices, with one likely being the Galaxy S25 Slim, which has been the subject of numerous rumors in recent months.
The rumored Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to have model number SM-S937B. Below are the model numbers associated with the Galaxy S25 series:
- Galaxy S25: SM-S931B
- Galaxy S25+: SM-S936B
- Galaxy S25 Slim (rumored): SM-S937B
- Galaxy S25 Ultra: SM-S938B
Despite the specifications circulating about the Galaxy S25 Slim, its model number has not appeared as frequently as those of the other models. This has led to speculation that it may not be available for purchase until later in the second quarter of the year.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to have a very thin body around 6.x mm, include a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, and Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM, a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
If these specifications hold true, the Galaxy S25 Slim could interest users looking for a flagship device without the additional features like an S Pen and high price point.
