Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra at its Unpacked event in San Jose, California. Samsung said (again) this new smartphone is the most powerful Ultra model yet.

Unlike Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Ultra showcases a refreshed design with more subtle curves and rounded edges. It Measures 77.6 x 162.8 x 8.2mm and the weight is 218g (14g lighter than the Galaxy S24 Ultra). The device is equipped a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Additionally, Samsung reports increase in performance, including a 40% increase in NPU performance and a 30% boost in GPU performance compared to the previous generation.

According to Samsung, the camera software is also improved by including default 10-bit HDR recording and enhanced low-light performance. The new Audio Eraser feature allows users to remove unwanted background noise from videos.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra included features powered by Google’s Gemini AI, which supports context-aware interactions across various apps.
