Samsung has released an update for the Multi Control app on Galaxy Books to make it compatible with the upcoming One UI 7.0. This update comes as the company prepares for the launch of the Galaxy S25, having already issued three beta versions of the new software.

The Multi Control app is now updated to version 2.2.1200.0 and improved its features for Galaxy Books (running Windows 11). A new feature added is file sharing via drag and drop between devices. Also, users can control multiple devices including Galaxy phones and tablets using a single keyboard and mouse/trackpad.

To use the Multi Control app, users must have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled on their devices, as well as the Multi Control feature activated. For synchronization, all devices must be signed into the same Samsung Account.

The Multi Control feature is also compatible with Samsung DeX mode on compatible smartphones and tablets. Additionally, it extends support to Samsung’s Odyssey series, Smart Monitor, ViewFinity monitors running Tizen OS 8.0, and 2024 smart TVs.
