Samsung’s One UI 7.0 now allows users to access Galaxy AI’s Writing Assist features across all keyboard apps, including popular options like Gboard.

Previously, the Galaxy AI Chat Assist feature was exclusive to the Samsung Keyboard. With the introduction of Writing Assist in the Galaxy S25 series, users can now use GenAI-powered tools regardless of their chosen keyboard.

Writing Assist includes six features:

  1. Spelling and Grammar,
  2. Writing Style,
  3. Summarise,
  4. Bullet Point,
  5. Table, and
  6. Composer.

These tools help users refine their text for proper spelling and grammar, adapt different writing styles, summarize information, and even formatting text into bullet points or tables. Unlike its predecessor, Chat Assist, which only worked with editable text, Writing Assist can also handle non-editable text, providing edited versions for easy copying.

Currently, this feature is available in the beta version for the Galaxy S24 series, with expectations for broader availability to older Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the upcoming Android 15 update.
