One UI 7 to Improve Fingerprint Unlock Speed on Galaxy S24

Samsung will release the stable version of One UI 7 with its upcoming Galaxy S25 series smartphone series. In the meantime, the company is conducting a beta program for Galaxy S24 users who have already received two beta updates.

Recent news from tipster Ice Universe says that One UI 7 will improve the fingerprint unlocking speed for the Galaxy S24 series. A video shared on X.com showcases this improvement by highlighting faster animations, and new lock/unlock sound during the locking and unlocking process.

The ongoing development of the third One UI 7 beta update will carry this performance enhancements. Also update is rumored to introduce new sound effects during charging.

The Galaxy S25 series will come pre-installed with One UI 7 and Samsung aims to make the stable One UI 7 update available to the public by mid-to-late February.
