There aren’t a lot of reasons for this. However, it’s important to know what might be causing the problem in order to fix it. So here are the most possible causes behind the S Pen not connecting issue:

1. Temporary disconnects due to system glitches
2. Bugs in the Android system
3. The S Pen that came with your Galaxy S23 is physically damaged or defective: If the S Pen is damaged (either by dropping or liquid leaking) or defective.

How to Fix the S Pen Not Connecting to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Properly?

Fix 01: Restart your Galaxy S23 Ultra:

The first solution we recommend is to restart your Galaxy S23 Ultra, as Restarting is the best way that can fix temporary glitches on your device. 

So here are the steps to follow to get your device restarted fast:

1. Press and hold the power key + volume down key until the device starts to turn off. Then release the keys.

Fix 02: Charge the S Pen:

3. Tap on S Pen. 
4. Tap on Air actions. 
5. Tap on the three dots at the top right corner and select Reset Pen. 

6. You will now see a prompt saying to insert the S Pen. Do as the device instructs to reset and reconnect the S Pen correctly.

Fix 04: Do a software update:

You can try updating your Galaxy S23 Ultra to the latest software version. If the update comes with a patch for this issue, installing the update will fix any bugs causing the S Pen to connect properly.
