Samsung’s recent rollout of its Over The Horizon ringtone has been marred by a quality control issue, specifically a typo in the album art where “Horizon” is misspelled as “Horizion.” This incident has raised questions about the company’s internal quality assurance processes and highlights a missed opportunity to use Galaxy AI’s spellcheck feature effectively.

The error is not an isolated incident; Samsung has faced similar quality control concerns in the past, including a misaligned watch face on the Galaxy Watch. The current typo could have been easily addressed if the team responsible for the ringtone’s album art had employed Galaxy AI’s Writing Assist feature, which offers spell and grammar checks along with language and tone suggestions.

Industry observers are calling for Samsung to fix this mistake in future software updates by correcting the album art. The incident underscores the importance of proper quality control measures and the effective use of available technology within the company.
