Samsung Galaxy A56 Could Become Its First AI-Powered Mid-Range Smartphone

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A56 could become its first mid-range smartphone equipped with advanced AI capabilities, referred to as “Awesome Intelligence.”

Trademark applications filed by Samsung in Europe, US, and South Korea suggest a trademark registration as “Awesome Intelligence”. While the trademark applications do not explicitly mention the Galaxy A series, it aligns with the company’s historical promotion of the Galaxy A series using the term “Awesome.” (“Awesome screen”, “Awesome camera”, etc.)

The Galaxy A56 is expected to be powered by the new Exynos 1580 chip, which is rumored to support additional AI features beyond the existing Circle to Search feature. These may include AI subtitles, text summarization, AI image generation to improve the overall user experience as part of the upcoming One UI 7.
