Samsung Galaxy A56 to Launch with Updated Camera Assistant
Samsung is set to release its mid-range Galaxy A56 with One UI 7.0 (Android 15). The confirmation comes as the Camera Assistant Good Lock module receives an update that includes support for the latest software version. This update is part of Samsung’s ongoing enhancements to its Good Lock modules, which provide users with advanced camera features.
The Camera Assistant module launched over two years ago. It offers settings such as automatic HDR control, image softening, and automatic lens switching, Quick Shot (minimizes motion blur in fast-moving subjects).
The rollout of the Camera Assistant update is currently taking place for the Galaxy S25 series, which is the only lineup running One UI 7.0 at launch. Additionally, the release notes for the update indicate that the Galaxy A56 will also support One UI 7.0 out of the box.
Samsung’s A-series has consistently been popular among mid-range smartphone users, and the inclusion of One UI 7.0 is expected to be well-received by customers looking for enhanced software features in the upcoming Galaxy A56.
