Fix 04: Run “Repair Apps” in the recovery menu

App optimization is another trick that can fix potential issues with the installed apps on your system that may not be compatible with the side panel. On Samsung Galaxy devices, this is called the “Repair Apps” in the recovery menu.

If you don’t know what the recovery menu is, don’t worry. It is super easy to do and should only take a few minutes to complete the whole process.

First, let’s boot your device into the recovery menu:

  1. Turn off your device.
  2. Plug a USB cable into the device.
  3. Press and hold the Power key + Volume up keys for a few seconds. When the recovery menu appears, release the keys.

Then, use the volume keys and highlight the “Repair apps” option and press the power button.
