Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE Set to Launch with Compelling Specifications
Samsung is preparing to introduce a more affordable version of its foldable smartphone, likely named the Galaxy Z Flip FE later this year. According to a report from tipster @PandaFlashPro, the device is expected to feature specifications closely to the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Display
The Galaxy Z Flip FE will reportedly share the same display as its predecessor but may have a peak brightness limited to 1,900 nits.
It is expected to use Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) for screen protection, consistent with the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Additionally, the device is anticipated to adopt the same flat Armor Aluminum frame, hinge, and Gorilla Glass Victus for durability.
Camera & Other Specs
The Galaxy Z Flip FE may come equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 10MP selfie camera. It is expected to be powered by an Exynos chip, most likely the Exynos 2500, and will support Wi-Fi 6E and 25W fast charging. The phone is also rumored to feature water-resistance sealing, stereo speakers, and a ProVisual Engine.
Running on Android 15 with One UI 7.x out of the box, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is expected to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in August.
While the exact pricing remains unconfirmed, it is anticipated to be sold at a lower price point than the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7 for consumers seeking a foldable device at a more accessible price.
