Samsung Launches $50 Replacement S Pen for Galaxy S25
Samsung has officially introduced a replacement S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, priced at $50, but the new stylus lacks Bluetooth capabilities, a main feature present in its predecessor.
The replacement S Pen (model EJ-PS938B) is available in Black, Light Gray, and Light Silver colors. It maintains the same price point as the replacement for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The removal of Bluetooth means users will not be able to use features such as Air Actions, which allowed for remote control of various features, such as the camera and music player.
Samsung has previously mentioned that the decision to exclude Bluetooth was based on data indicating that fewer than 1% of users engaged with Bluetooth-dependent features. However, it is obvious that with over 18 million Galaxy S24 Ultra units sold, even a small percentage represents a considerable number of users.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will go on sale worldwide on February 7 and customers who pre-ordered will receive their devices earlier.
