Samsung has officially launched its New Galaxy AI Subscription Club in South Korea. Starting January 24, consumers can rent a Galaxy S25 series smartphones for 12 or 24 months at a flexible monthly free.

Lim Sung-Taek, Vice President of Samsung Electronics South Korea stated that the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club is designed to provide consumers with access to the latest Galaxy products at an affordable price, thereby transforming the purchasing model for mobile technology.

According to Samsung, users can subscribe to a Galaxy S25 at a cost of KRW 5,900 (approximately $4.09) per month, which will be $48 for a year of use. Samsung released this program to make the latest smartphones more accessible by reducing upfront costs.

Other Benefits Of New AI Subscription

The subscription model includes other benefits for users. If a device is returned after 12 months, subscribers can receive 50% of the device’s listed price on Samsung’s official website, which can be applied toward a new Galaxy S series phone. After 24 months, returning the device will receive 40% of the listed price.

Additionally, subscribers will receive the Samsung Care Plus Smartphone Damage+ protection plan at no extra charge. Discounts on accessories like cases and battery packs are also part of the package.

Currently, there is no information on whether this subscription service will expand beyond South Korea. However, its introduction could significantly enhance accessibility for consumers interested in Samsung smartphones.
