Galaxy Z Fold 6 Gets January 2025 Security Update

Samsung has released the rollout of the January 2025 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Currently, this new software update is available for the carrier-locked variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 by the model number SM-F956U. The firmware version associated with this update is F956USQS2AXLG.

This security patch addresses a total of 51 vulnerabilities. If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 6 user, you can easily check for the update by navigating to Settings, then Software update, and selecting “Download and install” option.

Samsung is preparing to release One UI 7.0 (Android 15-based) for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Reports suggest that the rollout of this major software update will happen after the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.
