Samsung Unveils the Lightweight Galaxy S25 Edge with Impressive Features
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge during the launch event for its Galaxy S25 series. While details on the device remain limited, early reports highlight its lightweight design, with a thickness of just 5.84mm, and it is lighter than the base Galaxy S25.
The Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen featuring an impressive peak brightness of 2,600 nits. It will come equipped with a dual-camera arrangement on the back, including a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera, complemented by a 12MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The device is also set to include an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and an Armor Aluminum frame, and durability with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
In terms of audio and connectivity, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, along with a USB 3.2 Type-C port. Powering the device is a 3,900mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
The phone is expected to launch in late April 2025, with a price anticipated to be higher than that of the Galaxy S25+.
