Users in these new markets will get access to Samsung Wallet’s features, such as the store digital keys, access tickets, and boarding passes. The Samsung Pass component will also allow users to safely store passwords and login information.
Initially, the service will be available for Galaxy devices running One UI 7, targeting the Galaxy S25 series, with plans for broader availability as One UI 7 rolls out to older models.
In addition to the basic features, Samsung Wallet integrates a digital car key feature that supports various vehicles, including:
- The Volvo EX90,
- Polestar 3,
- Mini Cooper (2024 or newer),
- KIA EV9,
- Hyundai KONA, and
- Several BMW and Audi models.
Furthermore, Samsung has partnered with KLM/Air France to facilitate the storage of boarding passes and Flying Blue Miles within the Wallet app.
Security features for Samsung Wallet include Samsung Knox, fingerprint-based authentication, and data encryption for a secure experience for users managing their digital assets.
