To be able to turn on this feature, you should have a registered and activated SIM card inserted into your device. Then you can turn on the call waiting on your Samsung Galaxy S22 by following the steps below:

  1. Open Phone app.
  2. Tap on three dots at the top right corner.
  3. Select Settings.

  1. Make sure you have enabled call waiting,
  2. Check that you have the correct settings,
  3. Restart your device,
  4. Try toggling the Airplane mode temporarily,
  5. Check for a software update, and
  6. Contacting the network provider.

Let’s begin by examining the settings.

Fix 01: Make Sure You Have Enabled Call Waiting

So go back to that section, and make sure you have toggled on the setting correctly by following the steps mentioned in that section. Once you have verified the settings, move to the next solution.

Fix 02: Restart The Device

Restarting your device is an easy way to clear out any temporary issues that may be causing call waiting not to work. 

To restart your Samsung Galaxy S22 quickly and easily, you can do as follows:

  1. Press and hold the power button + volume down button for a few seconds, and once you see the screen turned off, release the keys.

Fix 03: Reset Network Settings

  1. Head over to Settings.
  2. Tap on Battery and device care.
  3. Tap on Software update.

Fix 05: Contact Your Network Provider
